Todd Allen has over 14 years experience consulting in technology and media. He teaches e-Business in the Arts, Entertainment & Media Management Department at Columbia College Chicago. His book on content monetization, "The Economics of Web Comics," is taught at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Todd has an MA in Internet Business & Media Covergence from New York University, a unique degree combining coursework from the SternSchool of Business, Interactive Telecommunications Program, Publishing department, and Media Ecology department.

His BS is in Communication Studies with a concentration in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from Northwestern Univeristy.

An occassional journalist, Todd covered the Technology & the Arts beat for the Chicago Tribune as a freelance. For New York Resident, he covered the NBA's Knicks and WNBA's Liberty and also penned a humor column. He currently writes the monthly "Funnies Business" column, covering the comic book industry, for Publisher's Weekly.
